Job summary

Kids Care Dental And Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant II to join our patient‑focused team. You will support doctors, prepare treatment areas, and ensure infection control while engaging with children and families.

You must have a Dental Assistant Certification, CPR, Infection Control, Radiation, and Coronal Polishing certificates plus complete our competency assessment. Travel to other offices may be required; a friendly, professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

Dental Assistant Certification-required.
Current CPR-required.
Infection Control Certificate – required.
Radiation Certificate – required.
Coronal Polishing Certificate – required.
Completion of KCDO competency assessment.

Responsibilities

Prepare office with daily opening and closing duties.
Prepare treatment area for patient by following procedures and protocols.
Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patient.
Assist the doctors during treatment procedures.
Perform dental infection control procedures.
Take x-rays.
Perform cleanings.
Perform all lab related procedures.
Hand off patient at check-out.
Complete care calls and thank you cards.
Travel to other office locations as required.
