We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dental Assistant II to join our established, fast-paced pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, has an energetic and upbeat personality, and maintains a positive outlook. A strong work ethic is essential. Candidates must hold a DA II/Coronal Polishing certificate and have an NC X-ray certificate. Experience with Eaglesoft is helpful.

Responsibilities:

1. Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, manage instruments, suction, and ensure patient comfort.
2. Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
3. X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays following safety protocols.
4. Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options.
5. Records Management: Update patient records and dental charts accurately in EHR systems.
6. Infection Control: Follow sterilization and disinfection protocols strictly.
7. Appointment Scheduling: Assist in managing and confirming patient appointments.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.
