Job Description

Great opportunity for a motivated and energetic Dental Assistant II to join an established, fast-paced pediatric dental practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, has an energetic upbeat personality, and a positive outlook. Strong work ethic is a plus. You must hold a DA II/Coronal Polishing certificate and have your NC x-ray certificate.

Experience with Eaglesoft is helpful!

Responsibilities

1. Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
2. Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
3. X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols.
4. Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options.
5. Records Management: Update patient records and dental charts accurately in EHR systems.
6. Infection Control: Follow sterilization and disinfection protocols strictly.
7. Appointment Scheduling: Assist in managing and confirming patient appointments.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.

Qualifications
