Job description

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant II for our Charlotte location.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist hygienists in providing dental treatments.
  2. Prepare and present treatment plans to patients as a treatment coordinator.
  3. Schedule patient appointments considering potential obstacles.
  4. Maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  5. Record patient health histories and assist during dental procedures.
  6. Ensure sterilization and sanitation of instruments and treatment rooms.
  7. Prepare dental materials and equipment for scheduled treatments.
  8. Complete dental charting and manage inventory supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Dental Assistant training or equivalent.
  • Preferred 2-5 years of experience.
  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment and insurance.
  • Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon software is a plus.
  • Reliable attendance, teamwork, initiative, and confidentiality are essential.

Additional Skills: Ability to interpret documents, solve practical problems, and follow instructions accurately.
