Job summary

Family First Health is seeking Dental Assistants for our Hanover/Gettysburg locations. The role involves assisting dental clinicians, preparing rooms, taking radiographs, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced practice.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited dental assisting background, PA x-ray certification (or ability to obtain), CPR and Narcan where required, and excellent patient service and organizational skills. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program or current enrollment in an accredited program.
  • Current PA state x-ray certification or ability to obtain within designated time.
  • Current CPR and Narcan certification.

  • Proficient keyboarding and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare rooms for treatment and sanitize after procedures.
  • Assist provider during treatment using four-handed dentistry.
  • Take and develop radiographs; pour and trim impressions.
  • Review medical history, obtain vitals, and document patient information.
  • Maintain charts and provide post-operative instructions.

Family First Health is seeking Dental Assistants for our Hanover/Gettysburg locations. These positions will have a responsibility to both offices and would split days as needed. As a Dental Assistant at Family First Health, you should have a positive and outgoing personality, excellent patient care skills, and strong organizational skills.
