Family First Health is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Hanover and Gettysburg locations. The role involves assisting with dental procedures, taking radiographs, and ensuring patient comfort across two offices with travel between sites up to 50%.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited dental assisting program, PA x-ray certification, CPR and Narcan training, and strong patient-care skills. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities within a supportive dental team.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program or current participation in one.
• Current PA State x-ray certification or ability to obtain within designated time.
• Current CPR and Narcan Certification.
• Customer service oriented with focus on patient care and outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares rooms for treatment and sanitizes after treatment.
• Performs sterilization functions and maintains equipment.
• Assists dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Takes and develops radiographs and impressions.
• Tracks and prepares dental lab cases for transport.
• Reviews medical history, takes vitals, and informs provider of patient information.
• Maintains and charts during exams; provides post-operative instructions.
• Escorts patient from waiting room to chair; handles other duties as assigned.
