The ideal candidate has experience with Dentrix, may have iTero 3D scanning and imaging skills, and holds a dental assisting and/or x-ray certification. A strong focus on accuracy, organization, and HIPAA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or x-ray per state requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI handling awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate during treatment.
• Review health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory and place orders.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
