Job summary

Brownstown Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Michigan. The role requires MI x-ray certification and BLS certification, and you’ll support dentists with chairside tasks, patient education, and efficient operations.

You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, operate Dentrix, manage supplies, and help maintain a safe, patient-focused practice. A collaborative, growth-minded team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• MI x-ray certification and BLS certification required.
• Minimum qualifications include dental assistant certification and x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
