Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida is seeking a dependable dental assistant to support dentists and front desk tasks under supervision. The role emphasizes learning and progression to Dental Assistant II through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Dental Assisting Program.
• 1 year four-handed chairside dental assisting experience preferred.
• Willingness to progress to Dental Assistant II through formal education.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with clinical and clerical procedures.
• Assist with front desk duties.
• Chairside assistance for dental procedures and radiographs under supervision.
• Take and record patient vitals and medical history as needed.
• Maintain infection control per OSHA requirements and ensure proper documentation.
