Job summary

West Coast Dental Services in California is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing DSO team. You will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with CA regulations.

The role requires active CA Dental Assistant certification, CA X-ray certification, CPR/BLS, and strong communication. Experience with Denticon is preferred, bilingual English/Spanish a plus, with opportunities for career growth across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Active California Dental Assistant certification required.
• X-ray certification in CA compliant.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Denticon or similar dental software experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/ Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterilization of instruments.
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards.
• Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately.
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance.
• Support front office to enhance patient experience.
