Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in Matthews, NC. You will assist during procedures, take radiographs, and prep the operatory while supporting patient flow and infection control. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for excellent patient care.

We offer full-time hours with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour, plus benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and ongoing CE opportunities through TAG U.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license and x-ray certification as required by state.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
