Job summary

Aspen Dental in the United States is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians with a range of procedures and patient care. You will take X-rays, set up and clean operatory, manage infection control, and help coordinate patient flow across the practice.

The role is full-time with a competitive hourly wage of $16–$17 and a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan with company match. CE opportunities through TAG U are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
