Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide patient care.
• Active license/registration as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures and support doctors.
• Take dental X-rays and process imaging.
• Set up and breakdown operatory after treatments.
• Monitor patient flow and handoffs within the practice.
• Manage infection control, sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies.
• Assist with denture relines and temporary crown fabrication.
• Take quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors and assist with office tasks.
• Collaborate with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
