Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in providing quality care in a fast-paced practice in Florida. This full-time role offers competitive pay, a generous benefits package, and opportunities for training and growth.

You will assist with procedures, take x-rays, prepare operatory, manage infection control, educate patients, and help ensure smooth patient flow and excellent experience for every visit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
