Job summary

Aspen Dental in Daytona Beach is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients throughout the day. You will be trained to maximize patient care, take dental x-rays, set up and breakdown operatory after procedures, and help with infection control and instrument sterilization.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, assist with dentures and crowns, perform impressions and digital scans, and help maintain accurate charting while collaborating with a friendly practice team for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/permit as required; including x-ray certification if needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and fabricate temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
