Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Texas. This full-time position offers competitive pay ($16–$18/hour), a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth within a leading dental service organization.

You'll assist during treatment, take dental X-rays, prepare the operatory, manage patient flow, ensure infection control, and support doctors with charting and digital scans while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills expected.

• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team for excellent patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required; include x-ray certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
