Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for Associated Dental Specialists of Long Grove in Long Grove, IL. This full-time position offers a 32-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, and pay of $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience.

You will assist the dentist, prepare patients for treatment, maintain asepsis, and support the team in delivering exceptional patient care while upholding OSHA and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• State-specific Radiography/X-Ray certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to patient service and education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists.
• Record and review patient health histories; complete chart entries under the dentist.
• Set up trays and instruments per daily schedule.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, maintain asepsis.
• Assist with dental procedures, including radiographs.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and safety certifications standards.
