Advanced Dentistry in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused dental office. We welcome experienced assistants and also interview recent graduates committed to developing their skills and building a rewarding career with a supportive team.

As a Dental Assistant, you will greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, provide chairside support, and help manage patient education while upholding safety standards and dental regulations.

Qualifications

• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-centric environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to deliver quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
