Job summary

Ideal Dental in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a clinician-led team dedicated to patient-centered care. You will assist with procedures, take x-rays, and help manage patient flow, while ensuring cleanliness and infection control standards across operatories.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: New acquired offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Take dental x-rays with precision and care.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and transitions.
• Ensure infection control standards are met by sterilizing instruments and maintaining safety.
• Educate patients on basic oral hygiene practices.
• Take accurate impressions and bite registrations.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostics.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the entire practice team to ensure top-notch patient care.
