Kent Smiles Dentistry is hiring a dental assistant trainee to learn and perform basic dental assisting under the dentist's supervision. You will gain hands-on experience in infection control, patient preparation, and chairside support while learning to handle radiographs and patient education.

Qualifications

• No prior dental experience is required.
• Customer services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the direct supervision of the licensed dentist.
• Participate in infection control procedures to ensure patient and team safety.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed after radiation safety requirements are met.
• Prepare patients and assist during procedures, handing off to front desk for follow-up visits.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
