Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Dentistry team. You will assist doctors with dental procedures, monitor patients, take vitals, manage instruments and prepare materials while keeping patients calm and informed.

This full-time role at the Burnet Campus offers 40 hours per week, with starting pay range $21.14–$26.47 per hour, and the potential for pay differentials based on experience, skills, and equity.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Dental Assistant Technical or Vocational Education.
• 0+ years Related Experience.
• State Issued Radiographer's License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Preferred: Directly related experience.
• Preferred: Nitrous Oxide Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Doctor with dental procedures and monitor patients, including those under nitrous oxide or narcotics.
• Record pertinent patient information in the electronic dental record; may act as a scribe when needed.
• Take and develop X-rays, including panorex, bite wing, occlusal film and cephs; maintain X-ray processor.
• Assist with patient contact and education on pre- and post-operative needs and oral hygiene.
• Prepare, disinfect, and stock operatory, and assemble trays and instruments.
