Job summary

NKY Kids Dental, a brand-new pediatric-only startup on Cincinnati’s west side, is hiring two Dental Assistants for its White Oak location. You will provide chairside support, radiography, sterilization, and child-friendly care under licensed pediatric dentists.

Competitive pay based on experience, PTO from day one, paid holidays, scrub allowance, and a Monday–Thursday schedule with alternating Fridays. This is a full-time on-site role at 8111 Cheviot Rd, Suite 102, Cincinnati, OH 45247.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant with pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain radiographic certification in Ohio.
• EFDA and coronal polishing certifications required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during procedures and IV sedation days.
• Take radiographs and ensure image quality and safety.
• Perform coronal polishing and preventive procedures (sealants).
• Sterilization, setup, charting and infection control.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment for kids.
• Maintain patient notes and accurate documentation.

Position: Certified Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: White Oak Kids Dental – 8111 Cheviot Rd, Suite 102, Cincinnati, OH 45247

Practice: Pediatric Dental Office (Sister office to NKY Kids Dental in Northern Kentucky)

We are a brand new pediatric-only startup on Cincinnati’s west side looking for two energetic and compassionate Dental Assistants to join our team! Come grow with us as we build an outstanding practice focused on creating positive, fun dental experiences for children and their families. You’ll work alongside amazing, caring pediatric dentists.

What You’ll Do:

• Chairside assisting
• Prepping for and assisting on IV sedation days
• Take radiographs (x-rays)
• Perform coronal polishing and other preventive procedures, including sealants
• Sterilization, setup, patient notes, and infection control
• Help create a warm, welcoming environment for kids

Qualifications (Ohio):

• Certified Dental Assistant CDA (pediatric experience is a plus)
• Ability to take x-rays (Ohio radiology certification or eligible)
• Coronal polishing certificate
• EFDA certification
• Must have a passion for working with children and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills
