We're seeking full-time contract Dental Assistants who are passionate about providing high-quality care and ready to make a meaningful impact in a well-established clinical setting.

Job Details

• Full-time flexible Contract, Up to 1 year with Extension Options
• Clinic hours Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Closed on weekends and all Federal Holidays.
• Uniform Allowance

Job Duties

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting dental providers and ensuring excellent patient care. Your duties will include:

• Placing and finishing restorations (amalgam and composite)
• Fabricating and placing temporary crowns and bridges
• Applying endodontic medicaments and desensitizers
• Taking preliminary impressions for study models
• Performing oral prophylaxis and fluoride applications
• Exposing, processing, and mounting dental radiographs
• Operating ultrasonic scaler (Cavitron) and hand instruments
• Educating patients on home care and post-treatment instructions
• Supporting daily clinic cleanliness and organization
• Training and mentoring junior dental assistants
• Taking and recording patient vital signs

Requirements

What we need from you:

• Graduate from Dental Assistant school/program or relevant experience
• 2 years of experience preferred
• CDA Certified Dental Assistant RDA, or Registered Dental Assistant preferred
• Active AHA BLS or willing to obtain prior to start
• Willing to pass Federal Security Clearance; US citizen required
• Ability to work full time
• Immunization Records required if hired
