Spectrum Healthcare Resources in Orlando, FL, invites a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team at the VAMC Lake Nona Medical Center. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a stable income and full benefits.

Requirements include CODA-accredited one-year program, at least one year of dental assisting experience, four-handed dentistry proficiency, a Dental Radiological Certificate, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• One (1) year dental assistant program accredited by CODA.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a dental assistant.
• Dental Radiological Certificate and BLS/CPR card are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform chairside duties in all phases of dentistry including prosthodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and endodontics.
• Record patient care information and provide post-op instructions.
• Instruct and assist dental trainees in the Dental Clinic.
