Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Dental Assistant for Jackson Correctional Institution in Malone, Florida. You will work under the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting, handling instrument sterilization, operatory prep, radiography and related admin tasks.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED, dental assisting program or 12 months experience, CDA/ Expanded Duty or ability to obtain within 6 months, CPR, Florida radiography certificate or ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of dental assisting program or 12 months experience required.
• CDA/Expanded Duty permit or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Florida Radiograph Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Background checks and security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
• Maintain the dental operatory and assist in chairside dentistry.
