Job summary

DOCS Health at Joint Base Lewis-McChord is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join a mission-driven, family-oriented on-base team delivering high-quality care.

You will prepare patients, assist during procedures, manage sterilization and infection control, and support dentists with setup and documentation. We offer competitive pay, PTO, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification in your state.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray and CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Must have or obtain Real ID Driver's License before start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing.

DOCS Dental provides high-quality dental care on Army and Air Force bases, proudly serving military families and veterans. Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional experience for patients.

• Support dentists with setup, chairside assistance, and cleanup.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
• Utilize dental software and equipment to support efficient care.
• Handle clerical tasks and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant certification (In the state you are applying to).
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray and CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.
