Job summary

GPS Dental is seeking a confident dental assistant to join our growing practice in Warren, NJ. This part-time position will transition to full-time after the initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting dentists, taking radiographs, and maintaining sterile operatory conditions. NJ X-ray license and CPR are required; CDA/RDA certification is preferred. In-person, 15–20 hours weekly with some weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• X-ray license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• CDA/RDA certification preferred.
• Open Dental experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients with a smile.
• Support dentists and hygienists in charting and treatment planning.
• Chairside assisting during dental and surgical procedures.
• Take radiographs and intraoral photos.
• Maintain operatory stocking and cleanliness.
• Provide a high standard of sterilization infection control.
• Maintain accurate patient records.

As a part of our start-up, they’ll be plenty of opportunities for growth. This will be initially a part-time position that will lead to full-time after the first few months.

Schedule:

• Monday: 9AM – 5PM
• Wednesday: 9AM – 5PM
• Saturday: 8AM – 2PM (Alternate weekends)

Job Responsibilities:
