DOCS Dental in Augusta, GA is hiring a Dental Assistant to provide patient-centered care on Army and Air Force bases and surrounding communities. You’ll prepare patients, assist dentists, and manage instruments with strict infection control.

A team-focused, tech-enabled environment supports your growth in private-practice style care for military families. Requirements include DANB or radiology license, X-Ray and CPR/BLS certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• Current Dental Assistant Radiology License or DANB Certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
• X-Ray Certification is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to obtain Real ID before employment.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and Coronal Polishing certification.

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant with DOCS Dental, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our patients have a positive and seamless experience. Your daily tasks will include:

• Building rapport with patients and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Preparing patients for dental procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
• Mastering dental software and equipment to assist in treatment efficiency.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and maintaining infection control standards.
• Supporting dentists during procedures, including setup, breakdown, and disposal of biohazards.
• Managing clerical duties, including daily and monthly reporting, with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

We’re seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care. Required qualifications include:

• Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
• X-Ray Certification (required).
• CPR/BLS Certification (required).
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to obtain a Real ID before employment.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification and Coronal Polishing certification.
