Leading Edge in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a dynamic team member for a specialty practice. The role blends back office clinical duties with front office admin tasks to support a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting the dentist, taking digital radiographs and intraoral scans, maintaining infection control, answering phones, scheduling, and updating patient records (Denticon). Experience with radiography and CBCT is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital radiography, CBCT, intraoral scanning and lab case management.
• State certification/license as required by the state.
• Resume showing consistent, stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and patient-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with a smile and ensuring comfort during visits.
• Assist the dentist with procedures and manage lab cases/deliveries.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments per OSHA policies.
• Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling.
• Enter new patient records and update ledgers in Denticon.
• Perform various office tasks as needed.
