Job summary

Missouri Ozarks Community Health in Gainesville is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support our Gainesville clinic’s dental team. Under supervision, you will prepare operatories, assist with a broad range of procedures, and help manage patient flow and records.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a dental assisting program; CDA or 1 year of experience is preferred. Willingness to travel to other clinic locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program preferred.
• CDA or at least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and instruments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative dental team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories and arrange instruments and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentist and hygienist with procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Record patient examinations and treatment information in EHR.
• Coordinate and maintain patient flow and confidentiality of records.
• Assist with outreach activities as directed.
