Job summary

Beautiful Smiles in Westlake, OH is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant. You will assist the dentist during procedures, maintain the operatory, sterilize instruments, and manage patient records using Dentrix.

This in-person role offers 18–32 hours per week with a Monday–Thursday schedule and no weekends. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, and requires X-Ray Certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• X-Ray Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, including sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information for patient documentation.
• Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and equipment.
• Excellent communication with patients and team members.
• Collaborate within the team and take initiative when needed.
