This role combines clinical and administrative duties, including radiography, EHR charting, inventory, patient education, and strict adherence to infection control standards. Some travel to other sites may be required; scheduling includes some evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Dental Assisting School or two years dental experience.
• Certified in Dental Radiology by DANB.
• Certified in Infection Control with CE compliance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment area, hand instruments to dentist during procedures.
• Assist dentist during dental procedures and manage suction and isolation.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Take quality dental radiographs as directed and process for review.
• Navigate electronic health records and complete charting.
• Stock and manage dental supplies; ensure office is well supplied.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
