Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant (Oral Surgery Assistant) in Glenville, NY. This full-time role offers a 4-day work week from 7am–5:30pm with rotating day off and no weekends, plus a salary range of $18–$24 per hour based on experience and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum PHI access requires HIPAA training and adherence.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or x-ray certification required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.
• Working knowledge of dental terminology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and provide comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures (four-handed dentistry).
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols (OSHA/CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
