Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Assistant at our pediatric practice in Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg, PA. All staff spend 2 days at each office, with required days at Hershey Medical Center and our outpatient surgery center in Mechanicsburg. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare patients for treatments, perform sterilization duties, and provide oral care instructions. Communication with parents is crucial as we treat children. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records and managing dental supplies.

Qualifications
  • Skilled in Dental Care and Dental Assisting
  • Knowledgeable in Dentistry and Oral Care
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children
  • Radiology certificate and CPR certification are assets
  • Experience preferred but training will be provided
