Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support chairside care and assist with denture procedures, implants, and oral surgery. You will collaborate with dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions to patients, while maintaining a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification where required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists with dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Support denture insertions, adjustments, relines, and repairs as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, and home care instructions.
• Obtain and document patient histories and clinical notes.
• Take radiographs in line with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
