Evara Health in Clearwater, FL is hiring a Dental Assistant (Float) to join a mission-driven, nonprofit health system. This role provides essential chairside support, helps maintain sterile procedures, and assists with patient administration across multiple sites.

You’ll work closely with dentists, hygienists, and front-office staff to keep patient flow smooth, ensure safety, and support care quality. Graduation from an accredited program and CPR/EFDA credentials strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• One or more years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support to dentists, residents, and students across operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and oral surgery procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment and ensure infection control protocols.
• Perform expanded duties such as temporary crowns/bridges, sealants/fluoride, impressions, polishing, radiographs.
• Explain procedures and support treatment discussions to ensure patient understanding and comfort.
• Assist with scheduling, documentation in EHR, and front-office coordination as needed.
• Participate in monthly inventory and manage dental supplies to keep clinics stocked.
