Job summary

Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant - Float to support our dental team across several NY locations, including Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lockport, and Lackawanna.

You will assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry, seat and dismiss patients, sterilize instruments, take radiographs, and manage supplies while handling clerical tasks. You will contribute to a friendly, professional patient experience and participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a dental office.
• NYS Registered Dental Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Seat and dismiss patients; maintain operatory cleanliness.
• Sterilize instruments; process radiographs.
• Manage dental supplies inventory; assist with lab duties and clerical tasks.

This position requires flexibility to work at different locations (Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lockport and Lackawanna, NY) within our dental practice.

• Previous experience working in a dental office
• Certification as a registered dental assistant in New York State is preferred

Salary Range

• Registered Dental Assistant: $20.87 - $28.47 per hour
• Dental Assistant without certification: $18.68 - $22.32 per hour
