Lake Minnetonka Dental in Wayzata, MN is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly, team-based practice. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral care while maintaining strict infection control and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Dental Assistant license (nitrous oxide and radiology license required).

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and intake if needed.
• Assist dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
