Perfect Smiles Dental Care has proudly served Lenexa, Kansas since 1991. We seek a Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience to join a patient-centered team, chairside support, and a commitment to high-quality care.

This role involves instrument preparation, sterilization, radiographs, medical history updates, and assisting during procedures to ensure patient comfort and efficient operatory flow. Competitive benefits available.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience required.
• X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements).
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• EFDA certification preferred (if applicable).
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
