Perfect Smiles Dental Care in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will work chairside, take radiographs, and help maintain a clean, efficient operatory.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience, current CPR/BLS, and a collaborative, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced dental setting. Flexible employment with options for full-time or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience required.
• X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements)
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• EFDA certification preferred (if applicable)
• Strong clinical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our team. Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, (full-time) or Wednesday, Thursday (part-time)

Key Responsibilities
