Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Mechanicsburg team. This full-time role offers a competitive $16–$24 per hour wage, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

You will assist during procedures, take X-rays, prepare operatory, and support the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. Emphasis on infection control, charting, and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
