Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• X-ray certification and Nitrous Oxide certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling.
• Emergency support: Manage emergencies with CPR readiness and proper supplies.
