Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in California to support clinicians and patients with a commitment to care and community impact. This full-time role offers structured training and the chance to grow within a world-class dental service organization.

You will assist during treatments, take dental x-rays, manage operatory setup and infection control, and help ensure smooth patient flow while contributing to a collaborative, patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
