Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in the United States. You will assist during a variety of treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, set up and break down the operatory, and support patient charting to help doctors deliver excellent care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide care
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• Active license/registration or permit as required; including x-ray certification if required

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
