Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our patient‑centered team. This full‑time role supports clinicians with a range of procedures, takes dental X‑rays, sets up and breaks down the operatory, and helps manage patient flow throughout the visit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license or permit as per state requirements.
• X-ray certification if required by state.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions and bite registrations.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
