Job summary

Aspen Dental in the United States is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients. You will help with a variety of procedures, take x-rays, set up operatory, manage patient flow, and uphold infection control.

The position is full-time with hourly pay between $20 and $23, plus a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and opportunities for career development and CE through TAG U.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
