Aspen Dental in Ohio is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients in a busy practice. You will assist during treatments, take x-rays, set up and breakdown the operatory, and guide patient flow while maintaining infection control and charting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; active license/permit per state requirements; x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x‑rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control — prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
