Qualifications
- Previous experience or formal training in dental assisting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable with computers and data entry.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and cared for.
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilized instruments.
- Review treatment plans and answer patient questions.
- Take and record medical history and vital signs.
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Assist with scheduling and patient checkout as needed.
- Anticipate clinical and patient needs to keep the day running smoothly.
