Job summary

Towncare Dental of Forest Hill & Jupiter Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant in West Palm Beach/Jupiter, FL to support our clinical team with high-quality patient care in a team-based environment.

The role requires completion of a one-year dental assistant program or six months on-the-job experience, plus X-ray certification; Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended, with ongoing OSHA/HIPAA/CPR/infection control training. Flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• X-Ray certification is required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Clinical support: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient care: welcome, reassure, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & diagnostics: take/develop X-rays, assist with impressions, maintain study models.
• Compliance & safety: enforce infection control, protect patient confidentiality, follow regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling/inlet documentation.

Responsibilities

• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program

or

• Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• X-Ray certification
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
