Aspen Dental in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. In this role, you will assist during various treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, sterilize instruments, and help keep patient flow smooth while delivering excellent care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; X-ray certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control—prepare and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
